March 2023 Extraordinary Meeting

An Extraordinary Meeting of Sturton by Stow Parish Council was held on Wednesday 15th March 2023 in the Old Schoolroom.  Meeting started at 7.30pm.

 

Meeting chaired by Cllr Gilbert.  Present: Parish Clerk, Cllr Hoyland, Cllr Taylor and Cllr Hawke.

               

Cllr Gilbert welcomed everybody to the Extraordinary March Meeting.

1. Recording of Meeting

It was noted no one was recording meeting.

2. Apologies

Apologies: Cllr Christie and Cllr Cook

 

3. To receive declarations of interests in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. 

 

None

 

4. Meeting opened to the public 7.31pm and closed.

 

5. Planning Application

Planning Application 146282- Land adjacent to Fleets Road. Application for approval of reserved matters for plot 1 considering access, appearance, landscaping, layout, and scale following outline planning permission 140331 granted 6th February 2020 to erect 5no. dwellings being variation to condition 1, 3 and 4 of 142814 granted 28th May 2021- amendments to site plan to include gates and brick piers.

It was agreed and RESOLVED to make a general observation. The observations made were measured against Policy 2- Residential Development and Management and Policy 5- Delivering good design of the Neighbourhood Plan.

6. To discuss and agree a Duke of Edinburgh application to volunteer in the Village.

Unfortunately, we are unable to insure the volunteer until an older age. Hopefully we can support in the future.

7. To agree to reinstate the Neighbourhood Planning group with Stow to review the Neighbourhood Plan against Central Lincolnshire Local Plan and comment on the solar farm.

It was agreed and RESOLVED to reinstate the Neighbourhood Planning Group to measure performance of the plan so far and to consider any implications of the updated central Lincolnshire local plan (CLLP)
