Sturton by Stow Parish Council - Home page

The original Sturton by Stow and Stow Neighbourhood Plan was adopted by West Lindsey District Council on 4 July 2022. In October 2023, Sturton by Stow and Stow parish councils agreed to undertake a minor modifications review of the plan and in July 2024 submitted their reviewed plan to the council for approval.

In August 2024, West Lindsey District Council approved the Sturton by Stow and Stow Neighbourhood Plan Review July 2024 as a minor (non-material) modifications review of the original plan (see Decision Statement August 2024). The plan review succeeds the original neighbourhood plan, to form part of the West Lindsey Development Plan for the Sturton by Stow and Stow parish areas and should be given full weight in helping determine future planning applications within the plan area.

Design Code 

Update: The Central Lincolnshire Authority Wide Design Code. Second Stage of Consultation

A design code is a tool to help shape places by improving the quality of buildings and spaces for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Community engagement is central to the preparation of a design code. The Local Plans Team are asking residents, stakeholders and built environment professionals to help develop the Design Code by visiting the consultation webpage: https://arcg.is/1qLiej1 and then completing the survey.

The consultation runs for 6 weeks from Wednesday 26 February to Wednesday 9 April 2025, so please do ensure you get your council’s response in within this time.
